Moto X not connecting to Wifi

Me too I'm afraid. Cleared cache, but didn't try factory reset. Just started this weekend. Connected fine to work wifi, but not my home or my friends house, which are both connected to regularly for the last year. Posted a question in the AC question area too.

Hope someone has an idea.

In all my fiddling, I guess I'd never tried to turn off the Bluetooth. When I did that this morning, suddenly Wi-Fi connected and all was back to normal on my home Wi-Fi. Work still connected fine today as well. I will have to test on my friends system, but hopefully that will connect now too. Works after I turned the Bluetooth back on as well.

Thanks. Turning off Bluetooth also worked for me. How weird. But the wi-fi disconnects again when I turn the Bluetooth back on again. This will at least keep me going until I can find a more permanent fix.

Me as well. This started happening about a month ago (maybe it is update related). It seemed my Moto G would randomly not connect up via WiFi. Eventually, by experimentation, I found out that turning off bluetooth got rid of the issue. I can toggle bluetooth on/off and watch the WiFi behave accordingly ... bluetooth on = WiFi not connected; bluetooth off = WiFi connects. I sometimes also see the WiFi network go to an "out of range" state when bluetooth is on?

Another thing to check when problems connecting to WiFi crop up, is what channel your Wireless Router is broadcasting on, especially if you're in an apartment complex where there are a lot of wireless signals. I have a Kindle that does not like to connect to "noisy channels". If you have a device that used to connect, but no longer does and you think, "Man, I haven't done anything to my router", log in and see if your channel is set to "Auto". If it is, change it and see if you can connect. Try channels 1, 6, and 11. If none of those work, it's probably a different issue, but there are still 8 others that you could try just to be thorough.
