Moto X: Potential Buyer

So, my wife is considering jumping from a iPhone 4s to the X. She loves the screen and feels that it would be a good fit. How does that bright colorful screen look now for you earlier adopters?

I also came from the 4S and have no regrets. Really like the screen better on the X.

I came from the HTC ONE. No regrets at all. Love the active notifications and the form factor is perfect.

Re: Potential Buyer

New S5 isn't out yet so it's still the best Android phone to buy.

It still probably will be after that release as well. The way I rank devices, the S5 does very well in pure specsheet hardware and camera, but on the software, user facing experience, buttons and overall value of investment it isn't so strong. Obviously will have to play with the device once it's out before making a final ranking, but my assumption is that it's going to debut in the mid to low end of the top 5 list, but it's easily conceivable that it fall in behind the Note 3 (currently 5th), which would make it the first Samsung flagship to never see the top 5 list (and that's excluding devices with other operating systems).

Re: Potential Buyer

Not too late for Moto x. That device is so awesome.
Everything about the device is perfect, other than the camera. it takes 'ok' photo's, sometimes. Sometimes the pic can look great. Sometimes it's just horrible.
Sadly, you have almost zero control over that.
Still, I love the moto x. One of the best. (feels awesome in the hand too)

Re: Potential Buyer

Anyone have Moto X discount codes or have a source for them?

Certainly not too late. I purchased mine Saturday to replace a dying Samsung GSII. I'm very happy with the experience and not waiting for the GS5.
