Now that the Google Nexus 6 has dropped the $349 I'm thinking about not getting the Moto X pure and getting the Google Nexus 6. The Nexus is $100 cheaper and specs wise just a tad less then the Motorola. What's everybody's opinion? Do you think it's better to save $100 and get the Nexus 6?

I've used the nexus 6 for a while and got my mxe today. The mxpe is much more friendly on the hands. From other reports battery life seems similar (4 hours sot).

Camera is a little better on the mxpe, video camera is much better.

If the size doesn't bother you the nexus 6 is a great deal. But the mxpe has some nice improvements (size, moto features).

At that price the Nexus 6 became irresistible and I decided to replace the trusty Nexus 5 I had planned on keeping for another year of two. My wife has had a Nexus 6 for quite a while and just loves it. I was impressed with the speed and smoothness, smoothest phone I'd ever used. The N6 also has a good, quality feel.

I got it a few days ago, typing this on it now. I absolutely feel like I made the right decision. A terrific phone.

Android since v1.0. Linux since 2001

I thought the video might be better on the 6 because it has OIS. Does the Pure also have OIS ?

I currently have both and I am having a hard time deciding which one to keep. It seems that the battery on N6 lasts longer, on my use. They are both great phones and very similar.
