AC Question

Hey there, after playing with the account functions of my Moto X(2014 I believe) earlier today and switching back to the Owner(my own) account I have started getting a blue charging screen(while charging of course) which says:

"100% charge complete" "Speed" "Continue" "Trickle" and a small app store ad at the bottom of the screen right above the "slide to unlock" indicator.

It is incredibly annoying that I am being targeted for ads on a charging screen while having no applications open. Is there any way to ensure this is disabled?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have any 3rd party lockscreen apps installed? I also recall seeing something about TouchPal keyboard associated with something like this.

Someone on another thread discovered that an app called Camera Z (or something similar to that) added a lock screen ad.

That's horrible and would drive me insane. Would an app like Addons Detector be able to pick that up, I wonder?

Probably. This was on a Note 4 forum and Lookout Ad Network Detector doesn't work on Note 4s for some dumb reason. So someone else with yet another model phone mentioned that "Camera Z" showed up as a Very Naughty Boy and when they uninstalled it their lockscreen ad went away. And it worked for the Note 4 owner with the same problem.

Apparently the "Z" in "Camera Z" stands for "Zombie" - which is what it turns your phone into - an ad Zombie, yelling "REVENUES!!!! REVENUES!!!!"
