Moto z force 7.1.1 is live

I'm on 118-23. Manually checked and 118-23-1 is available to me.

what difference between moto z force and moto z force droid ...

Droid is a Registered Trademark that only Verizon can use. BTW The Droid name is used under license from Lucas Film. If you read the small print on Verizon ads for Droid phones, you will see the disclaimer

All Verizon phones are unlocked, I just took a Samsung Galaxy S5 and my MotoZ Droid to Europe and Latin America and they worked perfectly with Orange SIMS and local SIMS.. BTW they where all GSM. They have been unlocked for at least the last 6 years, I know because i travel overseas at least 6 times a year. Only problem with the MOTOZ is that it doesn't go into 4G because the MotoZ doesn't have the frequencies to make use of 4G.

The difference is ---

The Moto Z Force does not exist. The only Moto Z Force is the Moto Z Force Droid.

I'm sorry. I posted the incorrect info, there was nothing specific to the update in it. Please forgive my mistake

Got the update this morning. So far no issues with SD cards or anything. I'm still running Nova launcher, so the only difference I'm really seeing is with the Google app icons.

I just recieved the update this morning on my Moto Z Force and it definitely changed the UI some. So far the only thing that I can say for sure is that it removed the app tray icon and added it to the home screen bar.

I updated to 23-1 a few days ago as well. My battery life has been cut by about 40-50% ever since. Does anyone have any ideas why or what settings may have automatically changed to use so much more juice?

Just got 7.1.1. Not liking the shaded box at the bottom of the screen. What happened to the icon to access all the apps? Now I have to press an arrow????

You seipe up on the bar. I also believe the "shading" matches the wallpaper

Swipe up. See Pixel launcher.

So I assume that the decision to remove the app button and replace it with a new method of swiping up on the home screen is an attempt to standardize the Android look?

I really preferred the previous method.
