Moto Z Force (Verizon): No email push sync option

I noticed this problem AFTER I installed the latest update [version 8.0.0 (OCLS27.76-69-4)] to my Moto Z Force.

I have multiple email accounts on my phone (some are gmail - others are not), and I want to receive notifications as soon as I get an email ... but a 15 minute sync interval is the best option available. This applies to ALL of my email accounts.

Verizon confirms that this is the best available option, but says that it's a Motorola issue (of course).

Anybody?
