Motorola Assist Battery Drain

I don't use Assist but it shows in my running processes. I don't understand that. I've never configured it to run. Regardless, I'm having issues with Android OS using 30-40% battery when it used to be ~10% prior to 4.4 update.

Our two M.X seem to be back to normal. Both went to sleep last night without a problem and Drive worked yesterday. Chris

Motorola Assist is already on your phone if you have a Moto X. If you go into settings, Apps, and all Apps you will find it there, if you haven't found it by now. It doesn't seem to show under the Apps button on your home screen for some reason. I have not had any more problems with it, battery life is excellent and I keep location turned on all the time.
