Motorola Droid Turbo 2 question regarding photos

Hi, I have the Droid Turbo 2 and all of a sudden the photos are all out of order. When I would go to Facebook or Instagram on my phone and click I wanted to upload a photo to either one of these apps it would go to the photos on my phone and they would be in order of most recent ones I had taken. For some reason I am seeing really old photos from 1-2 years ago at the top and my current ones are in there but they are in the middle and are all out of sequence. Any idea how I change it back to have my most recent snapped photos on the top where I can easily select them to upload to social media??

I get the same thing but on Twitter. Don't remember doing anything with the photos or settings anywhere.
