Yes, I wish the screen were flatter. Where Motorola has fallen short (before they even took a break from flagship phones) have been their cameras and computational photography. I'm not optimistic that they'll close the gap with Google, Samsung, and others.

Yeah I'm curious how they will upgrade on that part ...I'm hearing they will use 108MP shooter different from the one S20 Ultra is using ...but you still have other factors to play into ..

This is getting more interesting that might make me go back to Moto. I jumped off the Z3 to the Pixel 3XL. I wasn't impressed with the 4XL and now I am hearing rumors of the 5XL being a midrange.

Motorola + Verizon carrier variant!!! Match made in heaven.

No non carrier branded version, automatic no buy from me. Thanks as usual Motorola for making the decision very easy for me

I'm thinking it's because of the chip. If it had the integrated 765 5g chip like the pixel 5 is rumored to have, I'm guessing it could be around $799?

Specs look great except I don't like hearing about only one year of upgrades...bummer.

I am a VZ customer but I own a Pixel now so I know VZ is going to bloat the hell out of this phone...hmmm. I don't know about this one.

Verizon version only, $1000 when you can get S20+ for $1000 with better specs and package IMO. And Samsung has better software support both in terms of regular monthly security updates and more than one platform update. But anyway Motorola and Verizon don't care, they know they can push units to Verizon upgraders who come asking for phone recommendation. They probably know their target market.

Well now that it is official I have some time to decide before the actual launch. There is alot to like and a couple of concerns as well. So far talk has been positive. Only negative feedback I see is from people who are not on VZ, unlocked enthusiast and folks who are partial to what they currently have.
