Motorola moto G - Forgotten password - No data loss method please :)

I currently have a password and a fingerprint system in my phone however the fingerprint won't work when the system is rebooted. Therefore I can't get on my phone!
It's a Motorola Moto G and a pattern. Need a no data loss method please!

There is no way of getting into the phone unless you remember your backup password.
