I think the G line won’t get NFC until Brazil needs NFC.

Many recent Moto G devices here in Brazil include NFC, including the G7 Plus that I just bought or my old G5S+. I think NFC is not included in the US models, not sure why.

Yeah, probably that. Funny thing is that it seems the new plus won't be available on the US. Or maybe they are working on a carrier exclusive.

By the way, the 7 plus is a pretty good phone. I'll post my opinion after a few more days of use. So far I'm quite happy with it.

Looks like the Moto G7 will be the most widely available on carriers in the US.

The lack of NFC is why I didn't purchase a G6 and won't purchase a G7.

Unfortunately it seems most "budget" phones just don't offer NFC. No wireless charging either on g7
