News Motorola reminds me that I don't need the best

Its sad that only low and mid range phones still get SD cards. Went from a Sony Xperia 1 III to a OnePlus Nord N30 and its amazing how much you can get for a $250 phone these days, but would to love to see a flagship with SD card support still.

My Motorola G Stylus 5G (2024) is my 2nd Motorola. My 1st Motorola was the Motorola One 5G Ave. I bought both of these phones outright from Costco Canada at a discounted prices. The reason why I bought these Motorolas was that I was looking for a reasonably priced phones that I could buy outright to keep my Freedom Mobile phone monthly plan price down. Before coming to Motorola the first time, I used the Phone Arena app to search for the specs I wanted my phone to have. The specs I wanted were at least 128 Gigs of internal storage, at least 4 G's RAM (random access memory; it allows apps to run properly), external SD or mini SD card slot to add more memory so that I wouldn't be reliant on costly cloud storage and a size of phone that wasn't too big for my mid sized lady hands. Everything else extra under the hood of my phone was a bonus. For my current Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) the Snapdragon processor chip, camera and stylus were bonuses which I've come to enjoy very much. As for phone colour, does it really matter when your going to place a case on your phone to protect it anyway? I suggest getting your choice of case at Amazon as there are many styles, designs and colours of cases. Some cases even come with two HD Glass Covers. Protect your investment.

Motorola really did knock the ball out of the park with the G Stylus 5G 2024. The OLED screen, stereo speakers, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, microSD storage expansion, 128GB storage standard(256GB available too), battery & of course a useful stylus all combine making it an excellent product. Having wireless charging and very responsive finger print(that works 99.9%) is icing on the cake. Hopefully the 2025 model keeps almost everything but upgrades the processor, the cameras, faster wired and wireless charging, IP68/69 ratings, ups the battery little bit and kicks the S25 Ultra by bringing bluetooth to the Stylus(I know, wishing thinking as costs would be too much). Of course, Moto would have to try holding the initial price to USD400(before price drops). Good luck Moto(but it can be done)!
