Motorola Turbo Charger

ANNNND nevermind. Just read the fine print at the very bottom, looks like it'll only rapidly charge the moto x for now

Besides, the HTC One pulls only about 1A from the charger even if it's higher than that. That was part of the kernel settings in the M7 and I am not sure if it's the same on the M8 but probably not because the M8 seems to charge much faster than my M7 did; enabling fast-charge helped on the M7, though.

The last footnote does mention it'll utilize quick charge on other phones, they just can't make any claims on actual charging rates unless it's their own phones. So it wouldn't hurt to try.

The M8 stock charger is 1.5A, non-quick charge. My battery monitors have shown 1.2-1.3A charge rates while the phone is on and idle, so I'm sure it's pulling right at the max at times.

While a stronger standard charger won't charge faster, the M8 can tell if it's connected to a certified QC 2 charger and then charge faster. One thing I've seen is there are two chipsets for QC 2 circuitry. My guess is any phone should work with any certified charger, but I haven't seen anything that clarifies if that's the case or if the phones are only compatible with one chipset or the other.
