This feature isn't working for me with Gboard. The glide feature is enabled in keyboard settings. But I'm not able to move the cursor using space bar like it works on iOS. Anyone else expeutjis?

Do you have that feature enabled?

I have to kind of really slide my finger hard on the space bar to get the cursor to move.

Which value do you have for the long press delay in Gboard settings - preferences?

Try setting it a bit higher and see if it makes any difference to recognise the spacebar glide.
yep yep, and I will admit, that that glide to edit feature on Gboard on my phone works flawlessly and I absolutely love it. Use it all the time as part of my daily techno typing life haha

It works a little better if I increase the value. Instill don't quite get the hang of this. How do I move up and down on different lines. Right and left is glitchy as well. It accidentally outs in the suggested words when i slide the space bar.

To move up and down you need to select 'Text Editing', the spacebar glide only moves left and right, jumping to other lines when you reach the end.

Thanks. A bit long winded method.
This works flawlessly on iOS. Something that should be copied by google. Its ***** proof. Even my 6 year old can figure that in iOS.
