Move from Note 2 to what ? :-()

The Note 4 is good. Now I'll tell you this.. I'm a Samsung girl, but I do have a Nexus. Vanilla Android is very vanilla, you may or may not like it. You can always use a launcher but there are other issue that may or may not be important to you. Gallery, My Files, the alarm clock, S-Voice.. Those are things I like. If you haven't used a pure Android phone you might want to find one to play with a bit.

Ok desperate times.

Note 2 is seriously playing up despite full factory reset. I was hoping it was software related and that a reset would make it good. Definitely some sort of gradual hardware failure.

I need to pick a new phone up on Monday as this crazy Note 2 is impacting my interaction with clients. I might dump the pen as surface Pro is on my "TO BUY" list.

So here are my realistic options Large screen QHD and decent battery life are most important + no snail. Anything similar or faster than note 2 will do.

1) Note 4- 32GB $520

2) Nexus 6P- 32GB $600

3) LG V10 Not available here and seems it will be in Note 5 $ 900+ range

4) Note 5 $900+ and not available right now anyway.

5) Galaxy S5 $329

6) Galaxy S6 $500

Part of me thinks just get a cheap HD phone and forgot about it all.

Note 4 appeals most to me from the list for price feature value. Nexus 6P attracts me too.
Personally I think note 4 is ur best option also one can add wireless charging and with fast charge, removable battery and sd card it offers the most for the money.
I like the 6p too but one gets lot less phone for more money also one can find used note 4 at an affordable price.
I'm using my note 4 now and have the s6 too and just keep on going back to note.
I found my note 4 on kijij mint condition only 3 months old for 350$ Canadian ( THAT IS LIKE ONE BUCK US lol ) our dollar sucks right now.

Ok 99% decided that I am going with Note 4. Will place order in next few hours so that I can collect it on Monday.

Why when a portable battery pack has more juice and you find have to turn the phone off.

Because with an extra battery you don't have to charge the phone, just put the battery in and it is at 100%. Turning off the phone takes less time to charge it.

Removing battery's from a phone cause damage and wear them out faster the more you remove them. It's the same concept as the battery's in my vape box. I have two 3000mha battery's running in parallel, after a year of swapping them they have lost some life to them.

You aren't going to damage a battery changing every once in a while. People aren't changing batteries 5 times a day.

What not told is... the Note 5 comes in two sizes... 32GB, which gives you roughly 23-26GB of actual usable storage... or the 64GB version that's about $100 more in the USA.

I would not compare your vape's battery to your phone battery. Also, this statement of yours has no logic or fact backing it up.

It's like saying "I had this one television that I kept turning on and off every day and the screen went bad on me. DO NOT shut off your phone or the screen will die!"

That has more to do with the high current/voltage draw of your box than swapping the batteries (lemme guess... 50 watts maybe?) Swapping user-replaceable batteries has no negative effect on the battery's operating life.

I was changing my battery 4 times a day with my Note 2 because of incorrect servers addresses for my live.com email account which is a Microsoft Exchange Server a/c. Charging discharged batteries is better than topping off batteries every few hours.

That isn't normal use and it is a changeable battery also, it is meant to be able to be changed.

Kelly, what kind of discounts? Do you mean like the $100 gift card from Best Buy?

Well I first got a free year of Netflix, so I could cancel my Netflix subscription and get it for free.

There was also a promo bill credit for buying on JOD. I got $226 off for that and then TMO gave me a credit for about $175 for a screw up from the store when we first switched over and I applied that to my phone. All that added up is about $511, so I'm paying about $268.

Without the $175 credit, with the promos TMO offered on launch day, the cost would have been $443. The $175 was just an extra one because I applied it to my Jump on Demand lease/purchase.

Oh one more thing.. As a friend said to me, saying changing batteries that were meant to be changed shouldn't be changed because it might ruin them, is like saying you shouldn't use the on/off button on the TV because it might break the button.

You can get a battery for a Note 4 for $10 to $15 on Amazon and sometimes with special deals at places, you can get them for very cheap prices sometimes.

A $15 battery maybe having to be replaced but probably not, is worth it for ease and not having to buy a quick charge battery pack and wait for a charge. They is why they made the Note 4 with removable batteries, so you can change the battery if you want.

Buy from swappa off someone. I do it all the time and you get the phones for a lot cheaper. Some even new.

Sorry but that is hogwash. Please don't spread wrong info like that. The lithium battery that is inside a sealed phone and outside is no different. Swapping them makes no difference in life either. Charging your battery mid cycle to make it suddenly does though. That's what happens to built in batteries. It doesn't happen as often to the new batteries but it still does.
