Move From Samsung

- Lost all my quick commands with Bixby.
- No Flipboard integration in Bixby
- Bixby not working with WhatsApp
- Dual Camera
- When opened multiple apps, following functionality is missing
Create app pair
Switch apps

Opening Bixby is more fluid now, better voice recognition and UI is better. I hope the missing things will be fixed in official release.

Probably 2nd beta take care those

I bought my Oneplus 6T outright unlocked, 128 gb, 8 gig ram for £499 uk. My sim plan. O2, £11 pm unlimited text, unlimited calls. 8GB data. Very happy

Why couldn't you have just said this to begin with? A positive post speaking about the good of One Plus instead of slamming Samsung for "rip-off" pricing that isn't even valid if you wait a while or find a deal? The cure for any product that you think is over-priced is to simply not buy it.

Those who have moved from Samsung, had the Oneplus been $895 would you have made the same decision?

I think the unique selling point of OnePlus has always been undercutting the major OEM's with most of their flagship phone features.

Once they don't have this USP (As we are seeing year after year the prices of OnePlus phones going up and OnePlus announcing they will have a costly 5g variant phone in 2019), then there's no way of justifying buying it.

Hell No

OnePlus has a lot they need to fix with hardware before they can even get close to that price. The prices of flagship is a part of the problem across the market.

But as long as flagships keep dropping prices to compete, I won't complain. I quit buying phones brand new years ago for that very reason

I have a Galaxy S9+ and I just ordered a 6t. I just want to try something new, and I think I'll prefer the 6t.

All the other phones go up in price as well. OnePlus devices are still a great deal.

Oxygen OS plus the Samsung AOD and one or 2 other features and I’d be good!

I actually don't miss the AOD of my last few devices. I much prefer the ambient display lighting up when there is something to look at. With the AOD I was constantly looking at it to see if it changed and now I only look at it if the thing lights up.

That said, if Samsung toned down the software or at least allowed me to pick what extra features I want, gave me a flat screen, small bezel like the note 9, no notch or hole punch and eliminated that damn bixby button I'd probably go back. But I'm not going to have someone ram their ecosystem down my throat. That's why I do do iPhones.

Yep, Honestly it was the deal breaker for me. All the other stuff didn't bother me that much but that damn button......
