Hi. I use my phone for everything. I have a folder on the home screen that I want to keep my CV and support docs in. My CV is a word doc. I can open word and save the chosen doc to my home screen and then slide into the folder. This helps me when I want to email my docs when job hunting. But my diplomas and degrees are PDF format. It would appear that these docs cant be save to the home screen. Why the hell not. Is there an app that would allow me so i can put everything relevant in one home screen folder?

Welcome to Android Central! You can install Total Commander and create a homescreen link for any file (which is essentially a widget).
