Moved S8+ from Verizon to Tmobile... Do I need to reset for this to work properly?

Yeah I debated that but said na not worth it. The VZW version has a few apps -- some can be uninstalled except for a few like the Caller ID but they can be disabled (even without a 3rd party app). Much easier to just disable what you don't want and use the phone. That way I have no issues with cell connectivity and the VZW features (such as Video Calling) work without issue.

Not sure on WiFi calling ... Verizon's WiFi calling on their branded phones is different from other carriers in the sense that it won't use it unless you have no cell signal (or very little). I have great signal at home / out about so it never would use it so... the feature just stays off for me.

Agreed. Not sure it's worth the hassle, after some serious consideration since last night. I have everything I don't want disabled via package diabler pro anyway, so I'm not worried about that. I don't want to needlessly risk functionality on a phone that's been working perfectly for me thus far. Plus, I really reallllly don't want to have to set up all my little tweaks and the like all over again. Very lazy these days. I'll stick with what I got, because what I got is pretty much perfect for me anyway.

I would have a hard time trying to sell people on tmobile versus verizon... Verizon's coverage area is simply better.

I had Verizon since they were the first provider I used. Maybe over 20 years but the service for TMobile has gotten so much better that one of the only differentiator is price. I am glad I moved over and have been happy. Verizon not so much since I moved over 10 lines over. They were all happy. Good luck to you and hope you come back when TMob better fits your needs.

I thought the same thing initially... Thought "I could be fine with WiFi calling... At least I have that, right?" Then I thought "what if my WiFi has issues at any point or my internet or power goes out and I'm stuck with no cell signal?!" ... That helped make my decision a lot easier.
I'm not totally without a TMo signal @ home. Just not 4 bars. It does say LTE sometimes. But yeah, no signal would be a deal breaker, especially since we plan to drop our landline.
