Hi i just moved to Europe this past week and have a rooted thunderbolt, am i right in thinking that i should be able to instal the sim card for here and the phone will work or there is no way in hell? Asking cuz i dont want to waste the money on the sim card if it wont work since i can get a pos phone for like 20 euro

I think you will find that a CDMA phone in Europe has little value.

unless thr country has cdma, the phone is useless. Even if it did, it would require flashing to the carrier. There are verizon phones that have world phones which are quad band gsm, you can use one of those. Or even the rezound has sone gsm capabilities, but I would not classify it as a gsm phone since it does not have full gsm capabilities.

The Rezound does have some gsm abilities when a gsm carrier's sim card is installed. It isn't a world phone though as it doesn't full gsm capabilities.
