Moving to Note 2, questions on SD card and Jellybeans/rooting

Hi everyone!

I'm moving from an iPhone 5 to Verizon Note 2 and have a couple of questions:

1) Which 64GB Class 10 Micro SD card do you recommend? I've read about a lot of problems with the Sandisks, so which brand is the most reliable? I will be doing the SD swap so my apps will be downloading to the SD card, so reliability is really important to me.

2) Between Nandroid and Titanium backup, is one better than the other? I definitely want to backup my data and settings, and would appreciate your recommendation.

3) I will be running Jellybeans 14. Does the stock kernel allow SD swap, or do I have to use Perseus?

4) With a custom ROM like Jellybeans, will the frequencies work internationally so I get coverage as if it were running stock?

5) Jellybeans has so many customization options I'm not sure where to begin. What are some of your favorite settings and preferences (both cosmetic and functional), within Beans, the kernel and Aroma?

6) Any favorite apps I should try out?

7) I'm coming from the iPhone so any tips on moving over would be greatly appreciated.

I have the 64GB SanDisk available from Amazon for about $55, all but 1GB is filled with music and it has performed just fine.
