I'm having a problem with a mp3 I purchased from Wish.com.

I download a audio file mp3 for the last 2 months the file work fine

But since last night I download the audio file on my galaxy note 8 transfer the file by bluetooth to my apple book pro (2008 model) computer, the last step is to connect the mp3 player to the computer and transfer the file to the mp3 player.

The compuer recognizes the mp3 player as a hard drive so I can transfer the audio file.

I have to use bluetooth to tranfer the file because I don't have wifi.

Now I get an error message that reads
"File Formate Not Supported"

Was the mp3 player reconfigured to the it refused to play new audio files?

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd strikes against you have to do with buying something from Wish.:-\ That site sells a shocking amount of junk that lists outrageously false specs. It could be that the player is only 8 GB when it was advertised as 512 GB, and it's returning an error because the drive is already full. Or it could just be hardware or software glitches. In any case, I really wouldn't depend on that thing, and would strongly recommend against buying anything else from that website (or similar ones like Joom or Banggood).

This forum is for discussion of Android phones and tablets, as well as smartwatches and Chromebooks, etc. You will probably have better success finding mp3 player advice on an audio forum. Most of us listen to audio on our phones and have not used dedicated mp3 players in many years.

What mp3 player you recommend?
Standalone MP3 players are a bit niche now though I still have my old Sansa Clip+ for when I go running (best way of avoiding calls or message notifications) or when allocated a work van with no Bluetooth radio (no way I am leaving my expensive smartphone hooked up in the van while on a drop). My go to support site is

https://forums.rockbox.org/index.php

where rockbox is a third-party, user supported firmware which knocks all native firmwares and smartphone audio apps into a cocked hat.

If you really just want a standalone mp3 player, then Sandisk is a reliable company that still makes them, and they're pretty inexpensive. If you want something a little better, try Fiio.
