Anyone else using this screen protector? I have an issue with it. They cut it short so you can fit a case easier, but I feel like they cut it too short width wise because when I look at the side of the screen I can see a kind of rainbow color effect in the edge of the protector. It's really annoying.

Is this the case with all glass screen protectors? I've always just had a plastic screen protector on my old phone.

Either it's cut short to allow a case or it's cut the full size and taking it out of a case will rip the protector off. Look on Amazon and read the description carefully to find one that fits edge to edge. (If you're not going to ever use a case on the phone.)

But the problem is they cut it too short.

They come with the "Film Type" screen protector. I always run the tempered glass to take the hit instead of the phone glass. I am currently using the "Janmitta for OnePlus, 3-pak" from Amazon. It has beveled edges and a screen positioning tool to make aligning it up a breeze. You just clean the phone glass, use the sticky pads, and then snap the Guide onto the phone, and sticky pad again. Pull the protector off of the tempered glass and just set it down into the guide. It aligns perfectly and my "Poetic" case had even clearance on all sides.
