I used hboot to update to MR2 leak... but now when I try the MR1 it doesn't take. It goes through checking the file and just kicks back into hboot main menu.

It doesn't ask to update or anything...

Is there something I'm missing? Is it not possible to switch from MR1 to MR2?

Sorry for nubbing it up.

What did you flash - the mr2 RUU FULL LEAK? or just the radio?

You're rooted> s-off?

I flashed the mr2 RUU full leak... non-rooted.

I'm looking to go back to factory if possible... then go through the auto-root method and flash CM7's current build.

Thanks for your help.

That's what I went through but the first file isn't taking. It goes through 'checking' the file... the progress bar goes through blue... then goes through again as bronze/orange and then goes back to the main menu for hboot.

Before it'd ask to upgrade and I'd hit the volume up.

I'll try to re-download both files again and give it another shot though.

Check md5s with hash droid app to be sure the files complete

Went back through them again... This is where I'm curious.

When I'm going through the simple adb commands... it says the following...

adb shell
su
/data/local/busybox md5sum /data/local/misc.img

When I type SU it says permissions denied. I'm not rooted... I'm just wanting to go back to being stock. These are the instructions that are listed for 'NOT FOR ROOT USERS'...

When I go back into hboot, it checks the ZIP now but says it's older than the current version and only gives the option to reboot.

Any assistance?

Not yet I don't think. But there should be one soon.

Yeah that's what I figured... blargh... kind of stupid of me to flash the RUU non-rooted. I figured I could just flash the files or follow the adb commands to get back to stock.

Surprised there isn't some way to SBF back to stock or something. Oh well, guess it's just a waiting game for me now.
