Question MS Exchange Account Keeps Disappearing

I use a Windows app called AkrutoSync to connect MS Outlook to my Android phone (I have an A36 5G). It connects through an MS Exchange account to their servers. Everything works great most of the time. But since I moved to a new phone the Exchange account keeps getting deleted somehow. Plus the option to create a new Exchange account won't show until I reload GMail, which seems to fix the Exchange issue. I have no idea what's going on, and neither does AkrutoSync tech support.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Assuming that you're using the Gmail app (as opposed to the stock Mail app), try clearing the app cache/data for the Gmail app in Settings>Apps. Then set up the Gmail app again with your Google account as well as with MS Exchange.
