i bought a verizon htc thunderbolt from a friend a while ago and have used it for a long time and then just out of nowhere it will not stay on. ill have it on the charger all night and when it dose come on i can see a full charge but sec later it will shut off. how do i fix this?

It seems to be a bad battery. If you can, purchase a new battery and give it a good charge before turning it on. If the battery is not replaceable then you may need to send for repair or replacement.
