I have not been able to find if the MST technology is available on the 9. Anyone know?

Thanks
Hose

It is. I've bought a number of things via Samsung Pay (using MST) in the week that I've had the phone.

I'm fairly sure that it doesn't work at Walmart. Walmart had banned it in favor of Walmart Pay. Otherwise you should be go to go.

I use mine all the time at Walmart. Never had any issues. Unless it depends on the area or store.

Never had an issue at Walmart either. Not sure how they can block something the machine isn't aware of, but I've heard other people say this as well.

Its hit or miss at our Walmart in my town it works on self checkout and then at 50% of the registers that are actually open it works when it feels like it lol

mines has always worked at Walmart using mst and Samsung pay. never an issue, make sure u are placing the phone's back next to the card reader

I think some stores just have defective readers. MST works just about everywhere I've tried except for one CVS store.

I have eadily used it at Walmart several times. Have to run it as a debit though for it to work there. Also home depot, lowes, grocery stores, Starbucks, various gas stations in store, sheetz at the pump, dollar general, Walgreens, CVS, list goes on. If you see a slider you ha e access to, it should work

Walmart used to give me trouble but lately its been working. At the pump its usually 50-50 that it works, if it doesnt work it keeps telling me to reinsert card, with my note8 I would try a couple of times before giving up but today when I filled up it gave me the same please reinsert card, but for some reason I thought let me wait 20-30 secs before trying again and it worked ^_^

I only use MST even if the card reader has NFC I still go for the swipe area of the card readers cause I don't ever even think about looking if it takes mobile payments. Cause Samsung pay works everywhere 👌

MST makes your phone act like a physical credit card. It does not require anything from the retailer. If you have access to the area where you swipe your card.. you can use Samsung pay's MST.

Really want to blow their mind.. use your Gear s3 watch.
