I rarely use my phone when using Samsung Pay. Predominately use my Gear S3 Frontier. With the phone I'm never confident from where the signal emanates. The watch is a near no brainer and works 99.99% of the time. Once I encountered a snack machine that lost its connection to the internet and wouldn't accept any electronic or card payments.

Its hit or miss at our Walmart in my town it works on self checkout and then at 50% of the registers that are actually open it works when it feels like it lol
