I did the same. I had all kinds of problems with my blue one. Got a red one and it works great! I don't know if there is any connection!

I did notice the box said updated so they might have fixed some bugs. I know color has nothing to do with it but maybe build dates do since the blue was likely built earlier

My white one had awesome battery life but my red one-- meh. There is a difference from device to device.

They are all the same color. The faster ones appear blue however. It has to do with gravitational time dilation.

I believe that it is the amount of midichlorians within the user's bloodstream, that determines the speed at which the device works. The Force has a powerful effect...on the weak-minded.

You aren't the user and did not have both devices so I don't believe you know anything about the situation. There was a noticeable difference between the two that didn't had to do with color but maybe one had a glitch and the other didn't. No two devices are the same

They may have just ran the update out of the box for the users! Or maybe they flash them with the newest software? Who knows! Either way my release day White S3 is still holding out strong and I am super happy with it!
