Has anyone used the Mugen extended battery. I was checking around and the zero lemon is just way too big. Looking for something different to use without changing batteries twice a day.

I can't speak to the battery specifically for the V10. But I got a mugen extended battery for my Evo 4g many years ago. Worked great for about 4 months but then the capacity went to crap. Died even sooner than stock despite being more than doubled capacity. I bought another battery to replace it (from a different manufacturer and this one only 20 percent or so bigger than stock) and had a very similar experience. I shy away from 3rd party batteries now. If the cells go bad in just a few months it ain't worth it. Now, it's been a few years. Perhaps things have changed?

I carry around a large capacity storage charger in my bag. Can charge anything. To date, I've used it twice. But I needed it

Otherwise, I plug it into my car as needed.

Hmm, it's $100 for an extended battery which removes the possibility of using a case in exchange for a little over 2x battery capacity, NFC support and Qi Wireless Charging. Already looks like it'll be a better deal than the Zerolemon with functionality. Had the Zerolemon battery for a few days but sold it to a friend who has a V10 for $45 as the case was too flimsy for me to want to use it.

That was my thinking with the the ZL. I used it with my Galaxy S4 and it worked great with a great case. Then I bought the one for my G4 with the crappy case and immediately returned it.

I change batteries 3 times a day.
1st battery last from 8am-2pm
2nd battery 2pm-8pm
3rd battery 8pm - 12am

Most of the time theres a drained battery in queue waiting to be charge... There are few times where my phone battery gets to 15% and the one in cradle charging while the third is completely drained waiting in queue.

My charging cradle is always charging a battery. I own 3 batteries in total.

These batteries are total garbage

That's about my experience as well. Usually I'm able to squeak by using 2 of my 3 batteries

Holy cow, what do you do on your phones that you use that much juice?

Well, I am glad I like BIG PHONES. he ZL works great, 36 hours no problems. The case? It could be better, but I don't toss my phone around. I dropped it a couple times, scratched the glass screen protector I installed, but heck, I got in on the 2 glass shields for $2.95 deal and have a spare... But I hear there is a way to modify another case for it. But since the case doesn't bother me, I never dug deeper into it.

Hi Oditius, I am planning to buy this Mugen for my V10.
What is your advice until now for this item? Still working well until now? The back cover still fits well?

I was intrigued by this battery, so I sprung for one for my G4 , from EBay. I'll post back how I like it. Should be similar to the one for the V10.

I have no problems with the ZeroLemon battery and case. Seems to offer enough protection, have dropped it a few time, and the back didn't come off or anything.

Got my mugen extended battery for my G4
today. I think the V 10 is similar enough that what applies for the G4 should apply for the V10.
The good :
The new battery fit my spare battery coffin, and charged right up.
The battery and the back cover fit nicely... No gaps, feels solid, looks good.
The bad:
My Otterbox Defender case has zero chance of fitting, now. I didn't expect it to, so I'll have to find an alternative solution for my clumsiness.
Everything else:
Just installed battery about 15 minutes ago, so no clue about battery performance.
Charged new battery in my spare battery charger, so haven't tried wireless charging, yet.
The back cover is a similar material to the plastic stock cover... a little slick.
I'll update when I get a little more usage.

Update :
I've got 12 hours 27 minutes so far on the mugen, and my battery is at 80%. Only about 1 1/2 hours SOT.

Now that some time has passed can anyone report back on Mugen or any other decent extended batteries? Zerolemon too big.
