I postponed my Telus update too for 3 hours until I hear everyone's experience. I was soooo tempted to update my phone this morning when I woke up!![]()
Just updated my Note II (on the Rogers network) and the only visual change is the multitask feature.
Other than that, the rest of the update appears to be non-visual OS related enhancements.
Settings >> Display >> Notification panel
We can now change the panel toggles to our choosing.
This is huge for me personally because it allows me to put up Driving Mode instead of some of the other useless toggles. It was also sorely needed as the Multi-window pushed my Bluetooth off the first row of toggles and I use that a lot and needed it to be on the first row.
Hello,
I tied the update but a window pops up saying my device has been modified.
Its is not rooted or modified in any way as far as I know. I picked it up new a few months directly from the store.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Power off, remove your memory card, power back on, update should work fine. Then power off, card back in, power on. Good to go.

Just updated my Telus Note 2 and this multi-window feature is a c-r-a-z-y.
If its rooted i think there is a mod that makes tab/bar transparentIf only there was an option to remove the ugly tab and allow access to the multi-window list via swipe only!
Is there a way to move the tab up about an inch or so? Gets in my way with SwiftKey.

Tap and hold the tab and you will then be able to move it up or down.
