Multi-window and SwiftKey

I've noticed that SwiftKey seems to confuse the tablet when it's in Multi-window mode. If I'm running an app in one window while typing in another, the typing window loses focus after each keystroke.

Has anyone else run into something like this?

Yup, I keep coming back to the stock keyboard due to compromises on other keyboards.

That's a drag, as I have SwiftKey well-trained at this point. Thanks for the confirmation that's it's not just me.

MKHALL can you give an example of which apps you have open and which one you're typing in. I've had multiple apps open and typed in one with no problem. I do use the floating keyboard but I don't think that would make a difference. I'll try to duplicate your issue.

For some reason I didn't see your reply until now.

I just tried this again. Two windows: Evernote and Hangouts. When I try to type with SwiftKey in either app, it loses focus after a single letter. I'm not using the floating keyboard, but rather the usual docked version.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I have the same problem with SwiftKey and multi window on all of my Samsung devices. I've tried contacting SwiftKey, but cannot get a response. I also cannot find any fix. I just switch my keyboard when I use multiple Window. Kind of a pain, but it only takes 2sec to switch. Maybe if we all start emailing SwiftKey on a daily basis they will do something about it. Also if we all make a 1star review explaining the problem on playstore it will help get their attention. They don't want low play store ratings.
