Sprint just announced their update to enable the Samsung TW Multitask/window feature.

Good news for all. Expect it soon. IF i ever get my AT&T preorder in that is.

I would not give up LTE, being around Washington, DC and the good coverage. I would not think it will take that long to roll out the Samsung TW multi-window feature for AT&T if VZW will have it on their phones by the end of the month.

lol too late i went ahead and picked up an international one off craigslist last night. I get 6-8 down with hspa+ so its not all that big a loss. I like the thought of getting updates from the manufacturer and not having to deal with the carrier holding it up for testing and bloat. That said i'll likely sell when the LTE version gets the update. I traded a 64 gb iphone 5 for the Note and 200 so its not a bad deal for me at all.

Check out the news on Sprint. So, now Sprint is confirmed and VZW tester and marketing adverts confirm...AT&T models rolling out today, finally, so that may line up for us to get a similar update very soon.

Multi Window View for Samsung Galaxy Note II

The latest software update for Samsung Galaxy Note II introduced a new feature called Multi Window View.
Sprint Community: 11/7 - Samsung Galaxy Note II Software Update - L900VPALJC
This new feature allows you to split the Home Screen and view/run two applications at once. Multi Window View can be managed by selecting Home > Menu > Settings > Display > select Multi Window or by pressing and holding the Back Key on the device. You should then be able to select the Multi Window View application tray from the tab on the side of the Home Screen.

In the scenario shown below, the Internet and YouTube apps are being run on the same screen.

Enhancements/Fixes

- GPS lock settings can be defaulted by corporate device administrators

- Emails go to Outbox when in no coverage area or airplane mode

- Text message notification will beep while in a voice call (Alerts on call set to On/Off)

- Multi Window View feature to run two apps on the screen at the same time

Found one here in dallas. Every now and then one would pop up. Pounced on this ine a few minutes after it posted. Will probably end up getting the AT&T version and selling this one though.
