Multimedia Desktop Dock vs. Smart Dock

Help - what is the true difference between these two devices besides $50. And which one would you get and why?

The Multimedia Dock gives you audio out and a charging connection. The Smartdock gives you HDMI and 3 USB ports so you can hook up a keyboard, mouse and ext. Hard drive.

I would love to have something like motorola had with the lap dock, but with a 5.5 screen, the smart dock might just work enough.

So for those of you buying the smart dock, are you going to be buying a laptop/mouse to use with it as a computer?

I've been looking around for laptops with mousepads/trackballs in them, but dont really want a full size keyboard, or a mini one either. Would like tofind one in the middle. One where you can key with all fingers, not just thumbs, but small enough to be portable.

They sent me an email saying my backorder product was now available, but when I went to check out I changed my mind and decided to buy something else instead.

Verizon has the smart docks in stock right meow. If you log in, they're listed at 25% off. I got two and saved $50.

they were in stock this morning. i tried to buy this and the allshare media hub.

hub was back ordered, dock was able to be added to cart.

Yes, I added the smart dock to the cart, then had to be away from my puter for a few minutes; when I returned, the smart dock was no longer available.
