Multiple devices

Hi there, I'm trying to connect my G Watch to my nexus 10 tablet but it won't connect. Have downloaded the Android wear app to the tablet but it doesn't want to connect. Is it possible to pair the g watch to multiple devices? Or do I have to reset the watch ever time I need to add to host device?

I was under the impression that a wearable can only be connected to 1 device.

Well that sucks. During the working week, i used my phone (one of them) for wake up music but at the weekends, i use my tablet. Wish we could connect to multiple devices (even if not at the same time) as i have 2 nexus phones, a nexus tablet and a G3. Would be good if we could select the host device from the watch to save faffing about resetting the watch each time.
