Multiple E-mail account sync issue

I am having an issue with my new GNex. I have an Exchange e-mail account and a couple of other Comcast e-mail accounts.

The Exchange account gives me an option of how many days to keep synced.

The Comcast e-mail accounts don't have that option and the inbox is empty every morning and won't hold any e-mail history at all. I need to keep more than 24 hours of e-mail

Anybody know how to fix this?

so when you click on sync options it says nothing? or there's nothing or there is no sync options choice on the menu?

The option isn't there. In the exchange settings you can set how many days you want to sync. On my Droid X that option was on all the accounts. On this phone, that option does not exist for my non-exchange emails.

I don't have any of those types of accounts, but open the email account (like your checking email) and click on the 3 dots in the lower right hand corner and make sure there are no options.

I don't know about the native email app but I like K-9 for my email. I think it works best when the pop accounts are changed to imap accounts.

I hate to switch to another e-mail client, but if I have to, I will. I would rather get the phone app to work correctly.

Yeah I gave up on the native email app for POP accounts the other year on my DX. I've been using K9 ever since and have been happy. I sync 3 POP accounts. Im getting ready to make two of those accounts IMAP (Exchange) and are a bit concerned about the transition.

I'll look into K-9. I tried Touchdown on an older phone and it really blew, so I am hesitant about changing. I guess it's time to get past that.
