multiple Issues with the Nexus 6p.

I havent had time to go get the new phone yet, i plan on going in Friday. Update though: The headphone jack decided to start working, my new tempered glass came in but im not going to put it on this one because i am still having mic issues. The tempered glass is Inskin Ultra Slim 0.3mm HD Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Huawei® Google® Nexus 6P, and i did try this exact one on the last 6P i had and it didnt stick to the corners so it is definitely a defect in the phone screen. Ill keep you updated let you know how the next exchange goes.

I'm not sure what defect could possibly exist in the phone's screen that would cause such a problem other than (perhaps) a slight curvature near the edges. And, frankly, that may be a design decision rather than a defect.

The fact is, modern Gorilla Glass (the 6P has Gorilla Glass 4) doesn't need a screen protector and using one is likely to cause more problems than it alleviates.

Screen protectors can save the screen from scratches and damage during drops. Not even Gorilla Glass is immune to scratches from sand, quartz, etc (ie. stuff that is present on pavement, sidewalks, trails). I love to keep my screen "naked," but I love to keep it flawless even more so I don't risk it anymore and use tempered glass.

I just sold my year-old Nexus 6 with a flawless screen (ask the buyer). Never had a screen protector and I use the phone in all sorts of environments.

The one thing I do use is a TPU-type case with raised edge that surrounds the phone's face. That way, when I place the phone face-down on a table or desk (as I typically do), the glass never makes contact with the surface.

I bought my Nexus 6P via Google Store and have had NO issues what-so-ever. The Nexus 6P is the best phone I have owned and I have owned plenty.

I bought my phone from the Google store and have had it for a couple weeks. The microphone problem happens to me on almost every call, and it's very annoying. Its obnoxious having people constantly tell you that they can't hear you.

Reading Google nexus forums some people are claiming since 6.0.1 microphone issue has been fixed. Can you confirm if it was ?

The screen protector issue has nothing to do with the phone. Isn't the screen on the 6P tapered at the edges? Either the screen protector is bowed slightly, it's a little to big or you put on too low. Can't blame the phone for that.
