Multiple touches needed to launch icon on home screen

I'm not sure if this is a phone problem or a launcher problem. But in the last couple of weeks I've been trying to figure out why my phone requires me to click/touch an icon multiple times before opening.

I'm using the Microsoft launcher and my v30 is not modified in any other way but sometimes to open something it takes 4-5 clicks to do so.

I know my input is being recognized because the icon "pushes" into the background but nothing happens until I hit it multiple times.

Anyone else run into this? I've made no changes to sensitivity settings or anything else like that and my fingers I believe are unchanged. What should I look to do for troubleshooting?

Run the stock launcher. If that fixes it, it's the launcher. If not, it's the screen.

From what you describe, I'd say it's the launcher.

I'm using the Microsoft launcher too, and I've noticed the same thing. I think it is related to a feature they added to swipe on a folder to perform a different action. I'm hoping they fix it.
