Multitasking Apps

Now that the Note 8 is set to release with a lot more apps available for multitasking, is there any word on whether those new apps will be made available for the 10.1? I'm thinking of buying one but, since the multitasking is one of the main reasons I'm choosing it over say the Nexus 10, I'm severely disappointed over how few apps actually take advantage of it. I really need things like Chrome and Gmail to be included and seems like they will be on the Note 8. Considering its the same software and much the same hardware, I don't see why that same ability can't be extended to the 10.1. Any rumors or info out there?

Are you upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.2? Both Chrome and Gmail appear in my multi-tasking tray and open up side-by-side with no trouble. Also in my tray are:

Calculator
ezPDF Reader
Facebook
Firefox
Gallery
LectureNotes
Maps
MusicPlayer
MX Player
MyFiles
Papyrus
Polaris Office
S Note
S Planner

I haven't bought it yet. I have been searching to see whether any new apps were added with the upgrade but was unable to find any info. Every post about the Jellybean update listed the new features but not whether no apps had been added to the multiscreen list. Thanks for this info!! Now all I need to do is convince the folks at Touchdown Exchange to upgrade their app to work with multiscreen and I'll be all set!
