Music apps keep pausing for no reason, help!

I just got a ZTE Grand X 4 a few weeks ago, and whenever I'm playing any sort of audio or music (i.e. Pandora, Spotify, Youtube, etc.) it will constantly pause for no reason. Even if I have the app open, no others open, and I'm in the app it will continue to pause randomly. Occasionally I'll just have to wait a little while and it'll unpause itself. However the majority of the time I have to go into the app and unpause it. It's extremely aggravating, I'm constantly listening to music, but it's a big pain to have to unpause it every 5-10 minutes.
