Music Control

I noticed that both the Gear S and S2 has issues with resuming playback when using the built in music player on the watch. Sometimes it works when I pause and play again, but most of the time I have to pull out my phone and resume play from the phone. I have problems with pocketcasts and Google Play music. Has anyone else noticed this and if so, is there a workaround?

I use both of those programs, and Slacker music, and also experience the issue. I've just kind of ignored it and end up hitting the button a couple times until it takes. The FF is handy to skip commercials in Pocket. BTW you can also control YouTube playback if you have Chromecast via the watch. It's cool to be able to turn the volume up/down or pause videos on the TV with your watch!
