Music cuts out when sending texts.

When listening music via Spotify and texting someone on WhatsApp, whenever my text goes through the music cuts out for a split second. It can be bothersome on occasion. Is this typical? I'm using a LG G8 fwiw

In WhatsApp settings make sure this option is disabled.
