music download

Im coming from a droid to a droid x. How do u download music from websites and move them to the music folder. I have the music downloaded but when i try to copy and paste it, the new music dosent show in my music folder. I have to go to files to listen to it. Help me out please!!

if you downloaded with the stock browser they are stored in the downloads folder on the sdcard. Use Astro File Manager to move them to the music folder.

Sometimes the music will not show up until the media scanner scans the sdcard. You can speed this up by unmounting and remounting the sdcard Settings -> Sdcard
or reboot.

There is also an app called SDrescan that you can launch instead of rebooting.
