Does anyone know a way to get the stock music app to recognize music from your SD card? It only seems to pick up music that's stored on the phone's internal memory and once I move the songs to my SD card, they disappear from the library

It works for me. I created a folder named 'music' on my SD Card and put my music there. Also, I am a Itunes user, so I used Motorola's Media Manager to transfer my music and playlists. Now if I can only figure out how to retain my playing positon when I close the music app!

I just used Motorola's media manager, too. It defaults to putting stuff on the internal memory, but there's an option to have it sync to the removable SD card, instead. It recognized my iTunes library and let me pick which playlists to copy over, and I am playing one right now.

I had trouble before with the phone not recognizing my playlists, but I don't know why that happened. This time it worked fine.

So you close the app and then want to open it again and be in the same place in the same song? Why? Is this one of those "Android decided to close it for me" problems?
