If your looking to improve your sound quality by Poweramp, yes it does work if you have junk speakers or a bad stereo speakers hookup. I have a great stereo speaker set up and recently bought some me 60s headphones and no way do you need anything better than the signal the droid Moto force puts out than some high quality speakers. An equaliser is unnecessary and in fact hinders some of the sound quality and overall field of music that all equalisers do, buy high quality products and you will get everything you could have wanted besides hiding behind some cheap base that most imitate. Spend some more money and you will get such a better experience. I use master and dynamics mw60s for headphones and Yamaha receiver with Polk speakers and subs, the later well still great not the best though. Remember it's all about your speakers. I run Boston's in my Jeep with a 10 inch Boston sub old school competition series and it sounds brilliant. You want music buy speakers, a must.
