Music not auto-resuming

Hey there everyone, so I thought this was just part of an Android 12 beta program bug but clearly I'm wrong now. Here's what's going on, whenever I activate Google Assistant and Android Auto I'm going to pixel 5, commands in the stable version of working better thankfully, however my music is not auto resuming after my command is finished. I have to hit the pause button play button and pause button again which as you can imagine it's very annoying. When I just did was I just erased my pixel 5 from my car's Android auto history and repaired it but that didn't seem to work. I also went into the settings of Android Auto on my phone and cleared cash and storage. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to work either. And the other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.,thank you very much!
