Music not showing up?

I put music on my Droid Razr Maxx a few days ago (5, actually) and yesterday I plugged my phone into my laptop. I did not press anything, open any files, share anything, etc. I used it primarily for charging. The music was working just fine on it before, but now it's telling me ways to put music on my phone. I've shut it on and off multiple times, let it die, then charged it completely again, and looked at the music file on my computer. It said all my songs were on the phone. I read another Forum about a similar problem, and followed the advice there (moving it from Music to media) but that didn't effect it. Could I please get some help? Thank you.

You may need to do several troubleshooters to figure it out. I will offer...can you click on the files on the SD card and open them with a mouse. Try several. SD card good then. When you make changes on SD card reboot to help. While it's charging don't remove SD.
