Hello.
I recently transfered most of my music to my note 4. Nothing shows up under google music, but it is all under my files-> music and all out of order.
Any idea why that is
My sd card is a 128g and its been great so far.
Is there a better way to organize music on here?
thank you

I had the same problem once. I moved all audio files to the folder called "Music" and it sorted itself out.

D Android, just any random folder placed anywhere named music? thanks

Yes, I made a folder in SD card's root directory called Music and transferred everything there and it works fine. But of course you need to make sure that everything is tagged properly too. Also it takes a little bit for the phone to index your music before it all appears in the app.

I had the same problem. 128gb SD card installed, transferred music over to card but Google play and music app didn't see it. Had to create a folder named Samsung. Then within that folder, another named music. Worked like a charm. Did the same thing for movies. Found this solution from another poster in this forum.

Cheers.

So, is all your music in unlocked mp3 files? If so, did you go to great lengths to create these files out of libraries of music in other services, like ITUNES or Amazon Music?
