Music play issues to Chromecast..

I use Google music play and have music that I have downloaded from there library to my device and also in the cloud. I also have music that isn't from Google music. It all plays when I use my Bluetooth and wireless Bluetooth receiver without a problem.. When I play it thru Chromecast it only plays some and won't play any of the non-google downloaded files which are mp3. It will play when I select cast screen on my phone but I want to use the Chromecast device. I used both app on phone and app in the Chromecast app as well...

To the best of my knowledge unless those tracks are in your Google Play account. Local files won't play through Chromecast when casting through Play Music (same thing with pictures, they have to be in Photos, there's even a warning that pops up when you try to do so). Only way to cast local files is by mirroring the screen.

Well the ones that are from Google play are not all playing either...

I tap on Chromecast icon then select song from library or I stream and they don't play.

I go thru the Chromecast app then to music app on Chromecast and still nothing? That why I confused

I find trying to cast google music is the most frustrating part of my Chromecast. It will play only 1 song at a time, no matter if it's my music, there music, or "Listen Now" streaming. doesnt matter what device I cast from, PC, tablet, or phone. I can play iHeart all day long with no problems.

Rebooted it... Works... Hmm.. Hope I don't have to do every time
