Music playback error?

I copied songs from some CDs onto my phone and they had been working for over a week until I tried to listen to them today and it brought up a notification saying "Music playback error - couldn't play the track that you requested". All the other songs that I have are still working. Also I updated to andriod version 4.4.4 last night and I am wondering if that could be connected?

i am unable to play music which has been downloaded in SD card. I am using samsung galaxy j5 and i found this phone hopeless really i didn't liked this phone. please help me with this issue

I had the same problem with my Samsung stock player.
Hope this works for you.
Create a folder move that file/song of songs to this folder you have created.after that move that file/song back to the original folder.this has always worked for me.
It seems to be an issue ,suppose it's a ghost file so what you're doing is rewriting the song so the media player recognises it. Hey hope this works for you
