On my S3 Mini i use PowerAmp, and i am buying the S6 in a couple days and i was curious, how good is the default player on the s6? Do you think i will still use PowerAmp on the S6, or is the default player better/good enough

Because there's a HUGE difference in sound with PowerAmp compared the S3 Mini's default music player, and i think it would be really cool if the default was good enough. saves storage :)

thanks

The default one is good and interesting, but I stuck with poweramp. Poweramp has a better equalizer and overall is better in terms of customization and organization of music.

So far, the stock one. I have also been meaning to configure adaptive sound feature before trying another one.

I used Poweramp for a couple of years before making the switch to Google Play Music this year. Poweramp is still probably one of the Top 3 Music apps on Android for customization, sound, and features.

the only music I listen to on my phone is streamed from Google Music, so I just use that one - I also only ever listen to music from my phone through the bluetooth in my car so I couldn't really comment on the phones quality.

I use Google Play mainly for the cloud library but still feel the player needs some work done. I'd like to use my music stored there with PowerAmp or something fresher with material design if I could.

I'm mainly a Poweramp and Shuttle+ user. I've basically been using Poweramp ever since it was first released, but nowadays I tend to prefer Shuttle+ mainly for its design.
